"From Hall Stone Jewel to Freemasons Hall"
Our regular meeting held on 14th December 2021 was a departure from our original plan as, unfortunately, there were a number of members missing due to illness.
W.Bro. Keith Bissett presided over the evening as acting W.M. and a number of the brethren stepped into various offices as required.
It was a great display of team work and clearly demonstrated the support the brethren have for each other.
W.Bro. Reg Millsom gave a presentation entitled "From Hall Stone Jewel to Freemasons Hall" which was well received.
Amongst the customary business of the Lodge, the Brethren granted W.Bro. Peter Smoothy (pictured right) Honourary membership of the Lodge in recognition of his long and dedicated service to the Ethelbert Lodge. We are very proud to have Peter, a veteran of D-Day, in the Lodge.
Finally, the acting Worshipful Master, W.Bro. Keith Bissett, thanked everyone for giving him the honour of occupying the Chair of King Solomon for the evening.
Once again it was a happy and enjoyable meeting, despite the absences, which was followed by a Christmas Festive Board and a bumper raffle, raising money for our Widows Fund.
