DIARY OF EVENTS - COVID 2020 - 2021
The situation regarding the Covid-19 or Coronavirus is still under constant review and current restrictions at present mean that all Masonic activity has been suspended
During this difficult time, and throughout this pandemic, the members of the Ethelbert Lodge have had regular weekly meetings via the Zoom App, which has enabled them to stay in touch with each other.
The meetings have taken the form of social interaction and quizzes and we would like to thank W. Bro. Darren Douglas and his wife Alison for running them. These meetings will continue for the foreseeable future.
Our wives and partners also see themselves as friends and have expressed a wish to have their own Zoom Meeting to enable them to keep in touch with each other.
That has now been organised for the second Monday of each month, the first meeting being scheduled for Monday 8th March. This, coincidentally, is National Womens Day, so it is a very apt day to commence these meetings.
Our Lodge is friendly and all inclusive, and, as throughout Freemasonry, our wives and partners play an important part, for which every member is extremely grateful.
Finally, all the Lodge members would like to express their thanks to the Lodge Secretary, W. Bro. Cliff Norris, for his tireless work in this difficult time and keeping everyone fully updated.
All that remains to be said is stay safe Brethren and we look forward to the day when we can resume our regular meetings.
