Second Degree Passing for Bro. William Mead
Our regular meeting held on 12th March 2019 was a Second Degree Passing for Bro. William Edward James Mead.
We were honoured by the presence of W. Bro. David Alexander, Assistant Provincial Grand Master.
Brother William Mead's father Robert was also present to see his son take his second step into Freemasonry.
The Passing ceremony was conducted by W. Bro. Brian Gibson, (the acting Worshipful Master for the evening), to a very high standard, ably assisted by the regular officers.
W. Bro. David Sedge acted as Senior Deacon and was responsible for conducting the candidate around the Lodge, providing him with that most important reassurance.
W. Bro. David Dance presented and explained the Working Tools in a most excellent manner.
W. Bro. Robert Howe completed the occasion with a superb explanation of the Tracing Board.
At the end of the ceremony, the Worshipful Master was the first to congratulate Bro. Mead on taking his second step in Freemasonry.
It was definitely a happy and enjoyable meeting, and all the brethren would like to congratulate Bro. William Mead on his progression in Freemasonry .
